ProSeed began with the needs of our own family and grew through years of listening to clients in professional aromatherapy consultations.
Founded in 2012 by Buket Kaptan—a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist, Master Herbalist, and graduate of a Master of Science program in Complementary and Alternative Medicine—ProSeed is shaped by lived experience, botanical education, academic study, and thoughtful ingredient selection.
What began with the needs of our family is now thoughtfully formulated for yours.

Experience Behind Every Formula
ProSeed Holistic Wellness was founded by Buket Kaptan, a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist and Master Herbalist with a Master of Science in Complementary and Alternative Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boğaziçi University.
Her approach brings together professional aromatherapy training, botanical education, academic study, and years of practical experience. Rather than following passing skincare trends, she formulates with intention—considering the purpose of each ingredient and how it contributes to the formula as a whole.
Buket is a Certified Professional Aromatherapist through the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA). She is also a NAHA-Certified Aromatherapy Educator and an academic member of the American Botanical Council.
Our Formulation Philosophy
Every Ingredient Has a Purpose
A thoughtful formula begins with thoughtful sourcing. We work with botanical oils, nourishing butters, wildcrafted herbs, and carefully selected plant extracts.
Our sourcing includes USDA Organic–certified essential oils and select raw materials certified to COSMOS or ECOCERT standards. Where a water-based formula requires preservation, we choose a preservation system suited to the needs of that particular product.
We do not add ingredients simply because they are fashionable or make a label sound more impressive. Every ingredient must have a clear role within the formula.

Our products are thoughtfully crafted in small batches in Michigan, USA. Working in smaller quantities allows us to remain closely involved with the formulation process and preserve the care and attention that shaped ProSeed from the beginning.
